Wholesale terms for
Indonesian plant exports.
The commercial basis for every Foliaria consignment: minimum quantity, volume tiers, payment, freight basis and the division of documentary responsibility between exporter and importer.
Terms of trade
| Item | Terms |
|---|---|
| Minimum order | 20 plants per consignment. The minimum applies to the combined plant count, not to each variety. |
| Mixing varieties | Varieties may be mixed in one consignment. Each line is priced at its own catalog unit band. |
| Volume discount | 3% from 30 plants, 5% from 100 plants, 8% from 300 plants, applied to the goods subtotal. |
| Catalog pricing | Catalog figures are FOB unit bands, not quotations. The confirmed price is stated on the proforma invoice. |
| Payment | 50% initial deposit against a confirmed proforma invoice, settled by bank transfer. No card gateway and no card surcharge. |
| Trade term | FOB Juanda (SUB) by default, with freight arranged separately by the buyer. A CIF estimate is available with freight included, subject to carrier confirmation. |
| Freight | Quoted per consignment from the rate card, based on box count, volumetric weight and destination. The shipping rates page carries indicative rate estimates, not a fixed price for your consignment. |
| Export documents | Barantan phytosanitary certificate when issued after inspection, including e-Phyto verification where issued. Digital pre-flight copies are sent 48 hours before dispatch. |
| Import documents | The buyer obtains the destination import permit and any required pre-notification. These are not supplied by Foliaria. |
| Duties and brokerage | Import duties, taxes and customs brokerage are the buyer's responsibility and are not included in the goods price. |
| Arrival condition | Cases are reviewed individually on the evidence supplied. No fixed claim window is published. |
Volume tiers
| Consignment size | Discount | Application |
|---|---|---|
| 20 – 29 plants | No discount | Minimum consignment accepted |
| 30 – 99 plants | 3% | Applied to the goods subtotal |
| 100 – 299 plants | 5% | Applied to the goods subtotal |
| 300 plants and above | 8% | Highest published tier |
The tier is determined by the total plant count across all varieties in the consignment. Only one tier applies, and it is the highest tier reached. Discounts apply to the goods subtotal, not to freight or destination charges.
Payment
Orders are confirmed against a proforma invoice. Payment is a 50% initial deposit, settled by bank transfer. There is no automated payment gateway and no card surcharge.
The proforma invoice is issued after desk review and sets the confirmed commercial terms. The landed-cost breakdown shows the goods value, the volume tier, the trade term and the phytosanitary-document line. Catalog figures are FOB unit bands and are not a quotation until that invoice is issued.
Build a consignment manifest →Freight basis
Freight is quoted per consignment from the rate card and depends on box count, volumetric weight, destination and the carrier rate in force. The shipping rates page sets out the methodology and indicative rate estimates; the confirmed amount for your consignment is stated in the quotation.
The default trade term is FOB Juanda (SUB), with freight arranged separately by the buyer. A CIF estimate can be provided with freight included, subject to export-desk and carrier confirmation.

Arrival condition
Live plants travel as live organisms in air transit. If a specimen arrives distressed, contact the export desk with the order and shipment details and clear photographs of the affected plants and root systems. The export desk reviews the shipment and the evidence you supply; no fixed claim window is published.
